Dr. Rebecca Burton, MD, serves as the Medical Director of Molokai Community Health Center and also holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at the Hawaii Health Information Exchange, where she has served for the past nine years.

She joined Molokai Community Health Center in June 2025, bringing with her over 25 years of diverse experience in healthcare. Her professional background spans home health care, hospice, skilled nursing facilities, private practice, and hospital settings.

Dr. Burton’s transition into executive management and program development in health information exchange and security services has broadened her expertise, providing a strong foundation for operational leadership and innovation.
