The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a federally-funded program. WIC assists eligible families, particularly pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. The program provides those who are eligible with nutritious supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals.

eWIC is a benefit delivery method that allows WIC participants to access their benefits electronically. The system allows for the use of an eWIC card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) to redeem WIC approved foods.eWIC is different from other tenders so some additional cashier training will be needed.
When will eWIC be implemented on Molokai?
